Our Collaboration

Each Hatton jeweller has a story about their jewellery making journey. Their distinctive and individual styles are shown through their beautiful pieces.

Ame Gallery has been at the forefront of contemporary and handcrafted jewellery in Hong Kong in the last decade. We create this platform to support the Hong Kong jewellers community at HJI, showcasing the results of their creative process and fine craftsmanship.

About HJI

Hatton-Jewellery-Institute-1.png

Hatton Jewellery Institute is Hong Kong’s foremost contemporary jewellery hub, running both bench based jewellery courses and Hong Kong’s only jewellery co-working space for independent designer makers.

Situated in the heart of Hong Kong‘s Sheung Wan district Hatton Jewellery Institute has a specific focus on traditional skills and contemporary design. Hatton Jewellery Institute is dedicated to teaching silversmithery and jewellery design to beginners onwards, whilst the co-working space offers a fully equipped specialist work space for professional jewellers.

As the result of the Hatton Jewellery Institute “next step” approach, (providing everything from mentoring and training to bench rental and exhibition space), an ever growing number of students are now branching out and developing their own collections and brands.
